I had been single for over six months and started worrying that there was something wrong with me. I had a great social life but never seemed to meet the right girls. A friend of mine had heard about speed dating through a newspaper article and suggested we go along together. I thought it was a funny kind of idea and was really nervous beforehand. When we arrived at the venue I was for some reason expecting to see a load of desperately sad and single people. I couldn't have been more wrong! Amongst the girls were media sales people, nurses teachers most of home were really attractive. The organisers got us started straight away and suddenlt I wasn't nervous anymore. My first date, Jenny, had been before, so during our three minutes she explained how easy it was and put me at ease. She got a tick straight away. The room was buzzing as the three minute dates continued. The we had to tick on a scorecard which girls we liked. Jenny naturally got ticked! The next morning I received an email from the organisers confirming that I had one match - Jenny. I emailed her straight away and asked what she was doing that night. We went on a date and it went perfectly. Now 4 months later, we live together and tell all our friends how we met. Speed dating was so much fun and brought us together, I recommend it to anyone.
